I am a descendant of Seth Waddell and Elizabeth Robinson. My line is through their daughter Sarah Abigail Waddell who married Williamson Cobb Slaten/Slaton on 03 Nov 1879 in Morgan County Alabama.
I was trying to do some research on Seth Waddell's marriage to Elizabeth Robinson; but all I found was the marriage to Nancy McGhee in Washington Co TN and I thought I had the wrong guy....guess not though, since your posting identifies Nancy as his first wife.
