I am a direct descendent of a Nancy Waddicor who was born in 1822 (I suspect in Darwen) and who died in 1879 (in Blackpool but buried in Darwen Cemetery, non-conformist section). She married a Richard Entwistle in St:Mary's Church, Blackburn (now Cathedral) in 1846. She lived all her married life in Darwen, in and around Nancy Street which I suspect was named after her as it was built by her husband, amongst others).

I have details of all children, their marriages etc., but know nothing about Nancy - no information on marriage certificate regarding father.

Do you know anything?
