The Who's Who book gives a James Waddington born in York in 1882. If this is the same James and if the book is correct he was descended from William Waddington born 1798 married Jane about 1820 lived at Whixley, Yorkshire, died 1846 at Knaresborough. William had a son John born 1821 married 1843 at Knaresborough lived at Whixley, Yorkshire. John had a son James born 1857 Whixley, baptised 1857 at Great Ouseburn, Yorkshire, married 1880 York and lived at York. I have 54 people descended from William Waddington 1798, too many to send in this message. If you give me an email address I can send details to you.
