Hi Eduardo,

I am Portuguese and one of my direct ancestors is a Waddington. Among the list of his numerous children is a José (or José Jorge) Waddington who would have been born between 1813 and 1831 (these are the birth years of the oldest and youngest children).According to family papers: " he went to Ceará, Brazil, where he left numerous descendants."

But unfortunately, that's all the information I have. You would need to search from your father backwards to establish a link.

There are also Waddingtons in Argentina, and Waddingtons in Peru. So maybe the first Brazilian Waddington came from Argentina or Peru and not from Portugal.
