Augusta Waddington, Lady Llanover 1802-94

I see no reference to this important branch of the Waddington family which includes William W.(1826-94) who became the French Ambassador to London and was for a short time the French Prime minister (!). Also his cousin, Augusta W. (1802-96) who m. Benjamin Hall. He became Lord Llanover, was 'Clerk of the Works' responsible for the present buildings of Parliament, 'Big Ben' being named after him. Augusta promoted all things Welsh and became more Welsh than the Welsh virtually inventing the cultural concept of Welshness.
Another cousin was George W. Dean of Durham, 1844, and important in the formation of the University.
I have an account of this branch in my genealogy database; www.sanfordfamilymainline.co.uk
(See under Monk family)
Any further info on this family gratefully received..
Henry Sanford
