Here's assistance or a question, Susan. The 1850 census lists John Ooley, aged 35, b. KY, living with the 4 probable daughters you mentioned. However, down the road, in the household of Peter Ooley lives John J. Ooley, aged 33, b. KY. The marriage record shows that Kiziah Waddle married John J. Ooley. Do you have any proof that the daughters actually belonged to Kiziah? Assuming John J. Ooley was Peter Ooley's son (this is Peter Ooley, b. 1887, m. Polly Clark, 1810, Hart Co., KY.), who is the John Ooley that the girls are living with. Not Peter's son, at any rate. Just some thoughts. This is why I have gone no further with Kiziah Waddle. First, I have to figure out the Ooleys. L. Spencer
