Steve...Hope you see this. it has been some time since your post. My husband's mother was Nellie Winifred Waddell who was born in Melbourne. Her father was Mervyn Napoleon Waddell (my husband's name is Mervyn). Mervyn N.'s father was Napoleon WADDLE, whose father was Alexander James, whose father was Alexander Henry....and the family story goes that all of these descend from Alexander Stewart Waddle who came to Tasmania after being court martialled for "crimes committed" while serving as a soldier at Fort George, Upper Canada, during the war of 1812. How does your relationship work, and do you have any information on the link to the senior Alexander? Anxious to hear from a cousin.
