Our ancestor is George Washington Waddle. We know (at least
we think we do) that he was born in GA Jan, 1851. The earliest we have been able to find him is in the 1870 census and he is in Columbia Co, AR, sooooooooo he, no doubt
at least came thru MISS. We have no clue to parents or siblings. He married Mary Ridling in AR and they are in Texas in the 1880 Census, then later moved to Lexington, OK
where they both are buried. Their son Leonidus, "Lee" lived
in western OK. Is he a relative? We are descendants of son
Hugh.
