I've read through a lot of posts about Australian Waddells and am wondering if anyone knows mine?
James and Margaret arrived Sydney 1855 (aged about 30) on the Nepaul. My ggggrandmother Catherine was born at sea. They had at least 3 more children here, Margaret b1857-d58, Elizabeth b1858 and Sarah J b1860.
Catherine married my ggggrandfather Hamilton Stewart in 1873.
Sarah J married a Robert Davidson in 1881.
There may have also been a son Robert born in 1866 but that would have made Margaret 41 years old so am unsure if this is true.
If anyone has any further info on these people please let me know.
