Would like to determine parents of James A. Wade b ca 1820 prob. Greene Co., GA d prob Talbot Co., GA or Bartow Co., GA aft. 1880. Brothers or close relatives would be William Franklin b ca 1821, d Grimes Co., TX; Robert Augustus Wade b bet 1830-1836,d Savannah, GA.

James A m Mary Elizabeth Thompson (dau of John Thompson) in Greene Co., GA on June 20 1840 and moved to Talbot Co., GA.

Possible father of James A. was in the 1840 census of Greene Co., GA. James Wade age 50-60; 1 0-5; 1 10-15. Also there was a female living alone in Greene Co., in 1840: Rode Wade 40-50.

Can anyone help identify James A. Did he descend from David, son of Edward Jones?
