Hi. I'm trying to trace my mother's ancestry without much luck. What I know is that her father was Clair Wade born 1906 in Illinois. Her mother was Elizabeth Schneider born 1912 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, died abt 1953 in Illinois. I believe that Elizabeth's parents were from Germany.
There were two children born of this marriage. Marilyn born 1931 in Milwaukee, died 2001 in California and Annette born abt 1933, still living.
Elizabeth remarried and lived at some point in Chicago, Illinois with her second family.
Marilyn and Annette grew up in foster homes.
Any lead would be greatly appreciated.
