Jonathan Wade, deceased, was born Feb. 5th, 1788, in Elizabethtown, N.J. He has been twice married, 1st to ANNA CHILDS and 2nd to ABIGAIL GILLETT, the second marriage taking place Nov. 11th, 1824. By his 1st marriage he had seven sons: by his second marriage, a son and a daughter. Mr. Childs came from Stafford, Genesee Co.,NY and located on the John Lennox farm in 1828. Henry T. Wade, his youngest son, was born Aug. 11th, 1827, at Stafford, Genesee Co., NY, and married HARRIET, daughter of Herman WILSON, Oct. 8th, 1850. The issue of this marriage has been two children, Nellie A. Wade and Henry McClellan Wade. Mr. Wade is a farmer.
