Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Wade, Pittsburg's only known centenarian, who died yesterday, will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Ellesworth chapel with Rev. Clyde J. Askins in charge. Burial will be in the Girard cemetery. Mrs. Wade, commonly known as Grandma Wade, died at 3:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home, Twenty-third and Highland, following an illness of several years. Mrs. Wade celebrated her 100th birthday Dec. 14. She was born in Kentucky (x), CANADA, in 1834 and had been a resident of Pittsburg for 40 years. Survivors are two sons, Orley Wade of Pittsburg, R.R. 4, and Frank C. Davis of Radley; a daughter, Miss Sarah Davis of the home; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and two brothers, Ed Bonesteel of Galesburg, Illinois and Charles Bonesteel in Colorado.
