What is the proof that Charity, wife of the Joseph Ballenger who died 1744 in Goochland Co., VA, was Charity Wade? I know that two of the daughters of Joseph and Charity married Wades (Jeremiah and Pearce Wade). Is there some documentary proof that her surname was Wade?
