I am trying to find the name of Joseph Wade's wife. And the parents names of both Joseph and his wife. Joseph was born in Virginia 1753 ? He died in Monongalia West Virginia in July of 1778, he was at Ft.Statler,Blackville area,he and others were working in the fields and were attacked on their return by Indians ,18 were killed.He left behind a daughter, Mary Wade born 1777 in Monongalia,Died 1850 in Williamson Co.IL. I can not find the names of other children if there were others nor the name of his wife. Since she would have been young, if she was still living ,when he was killed ,I assume she would have remarried or gone to family. Mary Wade's husband was James Baker B.1775, her daughter was Harriett Baker, she was b.1809 in Mongomery,Tn. D.? in Corinth,Williamson Co.Il. Harriett Baker married John Edgeworth Weaver Born 1801 Died 1879. Their daughter was Harriett Burrell Weaver she was born Feb 14,1844 in Ware,Il Union Co, died Jul 24 1917 in Williamson Co.Il. She married John Marble Davis B.1834 D.1924, Their Daugther was Martha Davis (My Great Grandmother) she was born Dec 26 1873 in Williamson Co,Il Died 1920 in Williamson Co.,Il. She Married Lee Roy Mocaby ,he was born in Franklin or Williamson Co.,Il died in Williamson or Franklin Co,IL , their daughter my Grandmother was Loney Mocaby, b.Nov 3 1903 d.Dec 13 1963 in Franklin Co.,Il. She married Wathie Bennett of Logan,Il,Franklin Co. B.1903 d.1958.Also lived in Sesser Il at time of death. There were many other children ,but it is Martha's line I am looking for.I can not get past Mary Wade. I did find Court records were she went back to Monongalia Co with James Baker, about a land dispute where Joseph had owned 400 acres of land and she was heir to it, also found Joseph's death record and Revolutionary War service records in part,but nothing on his wife.Or their Parents. It is very important that I find her, if anyone knows anything please let me know.I would really appreciate it.
