The following gives info on Hamlin who had moved from Monroe Co., GA in the 1830 census to Talbot Co., GA:
He moved to Talbot Co., in 1835 or before based on this:

Muster Roll of "Talbot Hussars" January 25, 1836
"Original from an answer written by Lt Tarpley T.P. Holt (after Capt Biddle's resignation) to Governor's Military Aide who had requested a list of the effective men under his command and the nature and condition of the men.
Lt. Holt added a postscript, "as far as I can recollect", and that he thought there were others, but Capt Biddle had
not turned over the list".
The report filed by the Military department: "Report from Talbot Hussars, 40 officers and men, no captain--destitute
of arms--Rec'd 22nd Jan 1836".

"Later there was an election and David B. Bush was elected by a vote of 15 to 12 over T. M. Lawrence
Captain C. E, Biddle, resigned;
Captain David B. Bush, elected, elected 25 Jan 1836
1st Lieutenant Tarpley T. P. Holt
2nd Lieutenant Z. D. Trice
J. J. Irby, Cornet
...
H. L. Wade
...?

Would like more input about H. L. & his family.
