Ray, I went back to re-look at 1830 census of Monroe Co. for Hamlin L. Wade. Since he married in 1824, the male under 5 would likely be his. However, there are two more males in the household, one 20-30 and one 10-15. These could possibly be his brothers. If indeed they were children of William who died in 1827, it would be logical for some of the boys to be with their older brother(James A. would have been 10 years old in 1830.) Did the William who died in 1827 Jasper Co. leave a will? Do we know if there were other children? All these counties are very close geographically - Hancock, Greene, Wilkinson, Jasper, Monroe. I believe ALL these families have to be connected, maybe back one or two generations. Will try to run some of these rabbits. Loraine Notify Administrator about this message?
