Loraine, the James N. Wright in Chambers Co., AL could be the correct person. We will need to look for a widow named Catharine Wright in AL after 1840, just in case it was the correct person, and he died young. I haven't identified him yet elsewhere. James N. was born bet 1800-1810. I haven't yet looked at land grants to see if there was a likely Wright parent with the Wades --- in Jasper Co., particularly. Sarah P Simons Wade would have been in her 30's in abt. 1834 after the 1830 census of Hancock Co., GA, when it could be assumed that she was living with her daughter. She could have remarried, but I suspect that we would have to get into the deed records, etc., in Hancock Co., to pursue. Don't forget that William L. Wade, Sarah's husband was listed in the 1820 census of Hancock Co., GA so he would have been a property owner there. W. Ray Walker Notify Administrator about this message?
