Correction in this sentence,as there were eight children:
"...The first four (SHOULD HAVE STATED FIRST THREE) were born in Hancock or Monroe Co., GA. The last 5 were b in Talbot Co., GA, as Hamlin was established in that county in 1836 in the militia...."
