Hi Tom,It wasn't 200 acres,it was 100 acres
and I think the relationship was a matter of William Cook Wakeland and his wife taking in Turner to raise after his father died. William and his wife Mary were the Administrators of the estate of David Rogers
(father of Turner) in November of 1769. Turner would have been about three at that time. William was a witness at the wedding of Turner and so on. There was a close connection to this family. Hope this helps . By the way the surname for the husband of Rebecca is Fulkerson. I have lots of info for most of this family. I am also unaware that Charles (1777) had a second wife. I thought Permelia was the only one. Thanks
