I found this in the Waldo books:

Orpha-Ann, daughter of Samuel Waldo (Elijah, Edward, Shubael, Edward, John, Cornelius) and Orpha Waldo, b. 11 Jun 1836 at Acworth NH, d. 19 Dec 1858 at Council Bluffs IA, m. 1 Jan 1852 at Council Bluffs, Henry-Clay, son of John Forbes (John, Stephen, Aaron, Thomas, Daniel) and Mary Dunham of Cook County, IL. Henry b. 26 May 1835 in Cook County, d. 2 Jan 1878 at Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Forbes was second lieutenant in Company B, 26th Regiment Iowa Infantry and served through the Civil War. He had a second marriage to Esther Seddons in 1859 by whom he had five children.

Are these the ancestors you are looking for?
