David Waldo 1850's- 1920's Central Ohio

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about my gggrandfather David Waldo and his family. I am fairly certain his father was Elhanon Waldo although I can't find positive proof. Elhanon's daughter Esther married a Benjamin Hoe. The Hoe's had a Lizzie Cook listed as their housekeeper in the 1870 cenus. David Waldo married to Elizabeth Cook in 1872 in Madison Co. Ohio. They had 8 children including two sets of twin girls. Anyway they don't seem to be in any of the Waldo Family History Books. The rest of Elhanon's family are in at least the first book. I have some other interesting info on David and his family. They have quite a few newspaper articles (mostly tragic) about them in the Columbus, Ohio newspapers. Anyway I am wondering if David was a true Waldo, was considered a blacksheep or simply was overlooked in the books.
