Hi again,

According to the Waldo books, Edmund-Freeman, son of Jesse Waldo and Martha Hovey, was born 21 Jun 1811 at Prattsburgh, NY and died 16 Jan 1893 at Harbor Springs, MI. There is other information about his education and professions which I will send to you if you don't already have it. He was married twice, first to Sarah-Elizabeth Holmes on 15 Apr 1842 in New York City. This book lists 7 children for that marriage. He then married Eliza Boss on 28 Apr 1859 at Palmyra. Her parents were Solomon Boss and Catherine Knowles. She wasborn on 15 Mar 1830 at Smyrna, NY. This book states she was living with her son, Alfred-Frederick in Maryland in 1899.

Children of Edmund-Freeman and Sara-Elizabeth Holmes:

Charlotte-Elizbaeth b. 26 Apr 1843, d. 10 Jun 1880, m. Ezra Starkweather on 28 Oct 1865 in Pardeeville, WI

Lucius-Freeman, b. 10 Jan 1846, d. 23 Apr 1847 at Allegan, MI

Cornelia-Eusebia, b. 8 Oct 1848, d. 28 Oct 1848 at Allegan, MI

Edmund-Mortimer, b. 29 Dec 1851, d. 6 Jun 1856

Sarah-Jessie and Cornelius-Jasper (twins) b. 21 Apr 1858, d. 1 Sep 1858 at Palmyra, WI.

Children of Edmund-Freeman and Eliza Boss:

Edmund-Freeman, b. 15 Sep 1861
Lucy-Ann, b. 17 Sep 1864, d. 20 oct 1892 at Negaunee, MI, unmarried. She was a teacher.
Alfred-Frederick, b. 6 Jan 1870.

Hope maybe some of this is what you are looking for. I will next check for Alfred.

Regarding your question in a previous listing about Ralph Waldo Emerson, he is my 4th cousin, 5th generation removed. Ralph Waldo Emerson is directly descended from the sister of our ancestor, John Waldo - Rebecca Waldo, who married Edward Emerson. I got this information from another personal web site, so it needs to be verified, but I believe it is correct.
