Jonathan Waldo and son, Boston 1780.

In a book titled, "The Crooked and Narrow Streets of Boston" by Annie H. Thwing, 1920, there is a Jonathan Waldo mentioned. "Durant conveyed the southern part of his land to Jonathan Waldo, and his son sold to Samuel Cookson in 1780----."
Samuel Cooksons father, Obediah Cookson, married 2nd, Faith Waldo,22 Jun 1742, supposedly the daughter of Cornelius Waldo and Faith Savage.Faith is Samuels mother.
Can someone sort out the Waldo family in this puzzle?
Thankyou, Gary Knight
