Hi,
I recently learned that the Waldo Bible of Harrison County, WV was sold at an estate auction of Catherine Patton, the last Waldo of her line as she had no children. The Bible contained information on all the early Waldos of that county (my ancestors John and Jemima, John Jr. and Peace, and others. Do you know who bought it? The last I had heard she had caretakers and wasn't able to visit anyone. Then I learned from the historian there that all of her old papers, a diary of her ancestor from the Civil War, the Waldo Bible and other priceless treasures were sold wat an estate auction.Do you know anyone in Bridgeport or Clarksville WV who might remember the auction and know who bought the Bible? Thanks, Frankie
