Hi Mike,
I am also a descendant of the Waldos of Harrison County. In fact I have been to Bridgeport, Clarsville and Philippi areas and seen their stones and the cemetery where they are buried. I am descended from their son, John J. who married Peace Bull.
Catherine Patton died within the last couple of years or so. She had the Waldo Bible of John and Jemima (Abbott) Waldo. She also had much other historical information related to the Waldos. She had no children. I learned a week or so ago that when she died all of her historic material was sold at her estate auction. Do you know who bought the Waldo Bible? It would have the Bible entries that document our ancestry, since it has the births and deaths of their children and some other descendants.
