I have it that Hannah Coggswells father John Coggswell's father was Edward Coggswell b. 1554 and wife Alice (?) Coggswell b. 1570. Edward Coggswells father was Robert Coggswell and wife also Alice. My guess only one of the wives was Alice. Hannah Coggswell's mother was Elizabeth Thompson whose parents were Reverend William Thompson b. Jan 1576 and wife named Phillis b. 1572. John married Elizabeth 10 Sep 1615 in Leigh, W, England. He died 29 Nov 1669 in Ipswitch and she died 2 Jun 1676 in Ipswitch. Cornelius's daughter in law was Rebecca Adams (married to John Waldo). I believe Rebecca's father was Samuel Adams, the firebrand of the American Revolution and cousin to the Adam's Presidents. Rebecca's paternal Grandfather was Admiral Thomas Graves. Does anyone know if this is the same one of history book fame? He was born 6 Jun 1605 in Stepney, L, England and died in 1681 in Massachusetts. I can't remember what the famous Admiral Graves did - was in the British Navy I'm sure. Linda Athens
