I forgot to insert this in first message:
Here is where I might have a lead on Lewis Waldo. I got this message from Genforum:
(Posted by Kim Carles-Hammer on June 05, 1998 at 11:07:33:)
Wish to hear from others researching Robert WALDO, son of Nathan & Lois (HURLBUT) WALDO; b 1792,?NH; d 1864,Erie Co.,PA; m (1) Mehetabel WHITMORE & had the following children:
Lois, m. John White PRESCOTT
George W
Robert Jr
Lewis (I think he married Martha Johnson)
Harriet, m. Alexander V. TINGLEY
John Edwin
Robert m (2) Mary G. ALDRICH and had the following children: Jane; Marietta; Jeanette, m. John HILDRETH; Sally Ann; Mehitabel; Shubael; Melvin; Marcus; and Winfield Scott. This family moved from NY to Mercer, Crawford, & Erie Co., PA.
NOW FROM THAT I assume Lewis mentioned above moved to Mercer Co., Pa. prior to 1830.

The following if from census of 1830, Mercer, Pa. This must be Lewis/Martha's children, they are listed with their aunt Jane Caldwell(Martha Johnson Waldo's sister:
13 172 173 WALDO,Lewis 20 M Boatman New York
(son of Lewis/Martha Johnson)
14 172 173 WALDO,Jane(dau.)10 F Pa. S
15 172 173 WALDO, James G.(son)2 M Ohio
16 172 173 CALDWELL, Jane 40 F Pa.
This is (Martha Johnson Waldo’s sister)I would assume Lewis/Martha Johnson Waldo must of died in 1840s'? Anything you might have would be deeply appreciated. Thanks again, Jack
