HALL, GILLAM, DREW, WHITE. Are these 4 surnames in your family?

Several years ago I came across an entry for one of my wife's ancestors, but never followed up the info. Today I thought that it would be interesting to see whether anyone else on this Board had the following family within their own ancestry, as I could then fill them in with what happened to this particular branch.

On 3 Nov 1856, Mary Ann[e] GILLAM married one George HALL in the Parish Church of St.John, Cardiff, Glamorgan. Both were of 'Full age', and her father was shown as David GILLAM (Labourer). (Witnesses were P. Money and Mary Rice)

George was a 'Groom', and the son of Thomas HALL (farmer), and on the 1881 Census, she and her husband are shown living at 50 Russell Street in the same Parish where they married.

Although that Census shows her to be aged 51 (born 'Ireland'), and he, 57 (born 'England'), to my shame I must confess to not having checked any other censuses to date, although I'm hoping to do so soon.

George and Mary Ann[e] had children, one of whom (Mary Ann, bo. 1856, Regd Pembroke) married a James DREW (in Cardiff, GLA in 1876), whilst Elizabeth (or Elizabeth Mary), bo. 1857 (Regd. Narberth) married Thomas Abraham WHITE (in Cardiff, GLA, in 1875. There may have been other children of George HALL and his wife Mary Ann[e] (nee GILLAM), but if there were, then to date I don't have any more info. I do, however, have lots more info about the children and descendants from the Thomas Abraham WHITE marriage to Elizabeth Mary HALL, as it's from that marriage that my wife is descended!

I apologise for my long message, but hopefully someone somewhere links into this family, and then we can share information about each others descendancy.

Look forward to hearing from you,

John
