I do not know for certain about SOPHIA ABBOTTS age I have found an indicater that she may have been older than her husband THOMAS ABBOTT.
when she died in 1973 ish my mother thought she was 90 but there was uncertainty about that.
THOMAS ABBOTT was a painter sign painter business man and a gambler! He left wales for canada in around 1932ish
Thomas Abbott also lived in London England for awhile in the early 1920's
He came from a family that was finacially better off than the evans family.
I was recently told that sophia may have been a servant in the abbott family home.
the evans family members that may have been children of sophias brothers and sisters or children of her fathers brothers had the names spencer evans ...he served in WWII and was a prisoner of war in Japan for several eyars and also he apparently played soccer(football) before the war perhaps for manchester united or a farm team for them.
lil evans lived on the same steet as my sophis and I was thinking it was sisson street but perhaps it was mill bank road. Her house was named "the rockies". There was a church on that street and perhaps a train track behind the homes.
Spencer may have had children named david (would be around 62 years of age), john, joann and elizabeth
Lil may have had a child named david as well who would be around 64 years of age
