I thought there would be a problem with the more recent history but thanks for the marriage information
I also found a marriage reference for grace and robert and I am thinking that it is acurate
I am desperately trying to find a living decendant of the family still residing in wales. I know there should be two probably both David Evans I think one is a decendant of Morris Evans (Sophias brother) and the other a decendant of John Evans (sophias brother) and they should be in their sixties. One of these Davids had a father named spencer who suffered greatly as a Japanese prisoner of war during WWII and he apparently played scoccer (footbal) perhaps for manchester united or a farm team just prior to the war. He had at least three but I think 4 children. Their names are I beleive John David Joanne Elizabeth I do not have dates of birth but it would be post WWII so There is a very good chance one of them is still alive that might have more information.
I am certain they exists and perhaps I can get confirmation of the grace / robert information from them
I will keep trying in any case.
Do you think that it is possible to find more recent records if you actually went to the town hall? If I can find out the adresses where they resided and if I travelled to Rhyl would there be any records for more recent years there that are made accessible if you are physically present?
