Could I please ask if some one could possibly see if Lionel P Sayer(s) died in the swansea area he was alive in the 1930's

My Lionel P Sayer was born in Wales in 1893 lived most his that I know in England He joined the army then deserted the army in the 1920's ( he married in Scotland in 1919 deserted the army and his family disappeared for awhile then showed up again in Scotland marrying someone else in 1931 ( never divorced his frist wife )he then must have disappeared again as his wife of 1931 Nancy remarried several years later ......... I finally am in contact with his grandson ( never knew Lionel or any information about him until now ...... his grandson stated that his grandmother uses to go to Wales to visit family by herself!!!! The trouble is there is no family in Wales that would be connected to Lionel so i wonder if he was hiding out and she knew all along
Lionel was in the army but I have also located a seamans record of a Lionel P Sayers who gives his birth a year earlier but the place is correct his height and matches
the ship he was a seaman on came out of Swansea
Sorry just wanted to give you a picture of the person I am trying to find after 1932

Thanks
