Thanks for all this information. I have since found that a Priscilla Rees married a Hanney in 1930, which explains that my great grandparents must have separated. Where Priscilla Hanney ended up I am not sure, one suggestion from searches is Wandsworth where she died in 1968 but I am not sure.
