I am looking for information on John Buckley, son of John Buckley (soldier)(mother unknown),
KNOWN FACTS
1. He came to Australia as a child circa 1832 from Limerick, Ireland.
2. He was married at Grafton (Clarence River)in New South Wales, Australia to Anne/Annie Blackney/Blakeny in 1846.
3. He became a Constable of Police in 1858.
4. He fathered the following children:
Margaret b1847
Michael BUCKLEY b 1849 deceased at 1 year and 10 months
John Joseph BUCKLEY (Labourer/Saddler/Fencer) b1852
James BUCKLEY b c1854
Robert William BUCKLEY b 1858 deceased? before father
William J BUCKLEY b 1858
Frances/Fannie Mary Anne BUCKLEY b 1861
Catharine BUCKLEY b 1864
Phillip H BUCKLEY b 1866
Thomas BUCKLEY b 1868
5. John Joseph BUCKLEY married Harriett/Hariette Frances Mewitt on 25 March 1878
6. My Grandfather Albert Vincent BUCKLEY was the son of John Joseph BUCKLEY and was born on 22 July 1879.
