Following up the artist Benjamin West
1) You're probably aware of all sorts of online references to him, such as that on Wikipedia. (I just used google).
2) You're less likely to be aware that his 1820 will is downloadable for £3.50 !!
It's at the UK National Archives, which have the PCC wills indexed online. (PCC explained on website).

You have to download a free piece of viewing software first but all is explained.
Hope this helps shed some light on family connections.
