Hi Mike,
Yes it is very interesting.
My mum was born in 1952, when Rosina was carrying my mum she was with Arthur but not married i assume, i found out only last year that Rosina adopted my mum which was a mothers own adoption because arther wanted to adopted my mum but couldn't because they were not married hense she married in 1953.
If Rosina is the same women who is my nan, did you know she was Spanish or had spanish blood in her.
Anyway this search started because i wanted to do something special for my mum as she does not have any family i.e she has not see her mother since the age of 12 (a very long story but not for me to tell) My mother was told her father was Italian but she has never met him or even know his name as it was never put on birth certificate.
What was your fathers name do you know just wondering if it would be possible that your birth father could be my mums.Anyway like i was saying i'm trying to find my mothers brothers for her she knows i am looking but does not know about you yet, i know she would be overwelmed but also shocked that she may have another half brother.
I agree that yes you shouldn't give out too much information as there are some weirdo's on the net and you do have to be careful which is very sensible.
I have not told any of my family about the message you left regarding my uncles, i appreciate the frustration too,i would like meet you but like you said one step at a time.My mum only has myself and my brother as family, at the age of 12 my mum was placed in a girls home and the brothers were later put into a home not 100% sure on the reason.I have bben trying to trace her brothers for a couple of years, she was reluctant to let me at first due to her childhood, it is sad that your mym, my nan has passed away as i would have liked to meet her, mym mum says she looks a little like her mum.
I currently live in the West Midlands. My mum was born in woking and mum and her stepfather lived on a farm for a few years.
what else can you tell me?
This is very exciting?
Sonya
