Jenny,
So far I only have one other result apart from mine in my project, interestingly an Australian emigrant from Rochedale. He is not a match with me on the STR test used for genealogy and doesn't match the Atlantic modal haplotype though his haplogroup is predicted to be R1b.
The earliest known adopter of the Warburton name was descended from a Norman lord who came over with William the conqueror in 1066. The Normans have Norwegian Viking ancestry. My R1b3* does not preclude this ancestry at an individual level because the type is so common, though much less so in Norway than in the Western British Isles. Researchers use the proportions of haplotypes in different populations to draw conclusions.
Of course any one result could atypical due to unrecorded adoption or illegitimacy somewhere along the line.
