The hearts of MR. and MRS. WARD ROSENGRANT, who live near Garden Grove, were sorely bereaved and stricken when their little son, BLAINE STEWART, departed this life at the home of grandparents, MR. and MRS. ALBERT WARFORD of Leon, Sunday evening, July l, l9l7.The little lad had undergone an operation for appendicitis, but his affliction had gone too far and in spite of all medical science and kind hands could do, he left the earthly home for the Home on High.He was born August l8, l9l5, and was therefore, only one year, ten months and nineteen days old when the summons to leave father and mother and all the other loved ones that mourn him, came.
The funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the home of MR. and MRS. WARFORD.There was a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends present.Rev. Moser of the Methodist Church had charge of the services, after which the body was laid to rest in Leon's beautiful Cemetery where awaits the resurrection morn.Heartfelt sympathy is extended to the bereaved parents.
