Sanders Mills - widow's pension

Hello,

Need help with the following widow's pension reference:

Landers Mills widow Drucilla Mills Service under Captain Benjamin Reynolds Company Tennessee-Ill
File Numbers WO 9235 WC 4719

Landers is actually Sanders Mills, who served from Maury County, Tenn. and after the war, moved to Itawamba and Tishomingo County, MS and Franklin County, AL. He is believed to have died in Tishomingo County between 1850 and 1860. His widow, Drucilla, died between 1860 and 1870. If the service pensions did not begin until after 1872, wonder what sort of pension would have been available to Sanders and his widow Drucilla?

What does the "Ill" following Tennessee indicate? Illinois? Don't know how that fits in.

Are these two files available for lookup or purchase?

Thanks for all of the help provided. This is a great resource for researchers.

Mona
