Need Help!

In a book "When the Past Refused to Die" (a history of Caswell Co., NC 1777-1977) by William S. Powell comes the following reference about the War of 1812. "Federal pension rolls of 1883 reveal that one veteran and nine widows received $8.00 a month". One of these widows was Bathsheba Ferguson. She moved to Caswell Co. from Pittsylvania Co., Va. after her husband"s death in 1850. Her husband, Robert D. Ferguson, was also a patriot of the Revolutionary War but I cannot find out any info concerning the War of 1812. Robert was my gggrandfather. Thanks for any help. Margie Stroud
