Kelly: thank you very much for your suggestions on
how to search for Joseph Patterson. You are right, he
does have a snappy-looking tombstone but alas no obit,
no info. A cousin thinks they remember seeing somewhere
he was in the service but we aren't able to pin that.
He lived in Campbell Co., Ky (Covington) in 1812 so
the two references you gave might be a lead! Thanks
again.
