Interesting. I was looking it over and it looks like that's my gggg?grandpa as the record says he was inducted in North Carolina which was supposed to be where our branch was thought to come from.

Just out of curiosity, there wasn't a James Deshon from about the same time in the records, was there? I'm thinking the BLM got their records mixed up a bit and that there is probably not a person listed by that spelling.
