William Brumfield's Cabell County Cavalry Company

I am looking for a roster list of the men who served under William Brumfield in the Cabell County Cavalry Company (part of 3d Regiment of Virginia Calvalry). In Wallace's book on the Annals and Families of Cabell County, he says he was unable to locate roster lists. I tried the Lib of VA without success. Wallace tried the Adjutant General.

I am looking for mention of my ggg grandfather, George Washington Spears/Speer, who lived in Cabell County. He bought land that bordered on William Brumfield's.
