Hello My Potential Favourite Person (for today) -
I have located a Robert T. Warrington in Butte, Montana in 1902. Resident with him were a Laura Warrington (who worked for a telegraph company) and a Mary Warrington (who wasn't employed, but might have been too young). Because of the reference, that Laura 'boarded' at the house, it's likely that she was a daughter and not a spouse, which places her YoB @ 1885. Spouses and heads-of-household were always referred to as 'residence' in this directory.
In your post you note that a Laura Mabel Warrington married Ralph Judd in 1906. That's possibly good news for me.
My great-grandmother was named 'Mary Warrington', and she was born @ 1885 in Minnesota. She married my great-grandfather @ 1908 (according to the 1910 census) - which puts her marriage and age around that of Laura.
Is it possible that the Laura Warrington you mentioned is the same Laura living in Butte in 1902? Prior to that, I believe the family lived in St Paul, MN. I've located a Robert T. in St Paul in 1892 and the Northern Pacific RR went from St Paul to Butte via direct line so I might even know how he got there.
This was a long post for such a simple question, but I wanted to ensure you had as much info as I could provide.
Mike
