I am searching for information on Henry WAUGHTEL, son of Jorge WACHTAL, WAUGHTEL.
Henry was born in October, 1764, in PA,
He supposedly removed to VA at about age 31 and was there until 1812.
He then followed the classic pattern of early migration; to OH, IN and IL, where he died. He claimed to have served in the War of 1812, but I have been unable to locate any records. MY understanding is that many of those rosters were lost. I am also seeking information on Henry's early life as a wagonmaker, in Augusta County, VA.
