I have my Thomas Knotts/Knott/Nott living in Washington Co., Va in 1810 census and found Federick Waughtel in the same census. Do you think Patsy (Knotts) Waughtel could be a sibling or other relative to Thomas. I do not know Thomas's parents, but I do know his decendent line. The Thomas name is in every generation and in multiple families. Henry, Albion, Japhet, are some more names that appear often. My Thomas Knotts moved to Sangamon Co., IL by 1819-20 via Indiana. One of his children was born in Indiana. Has anyone found the parentage of Patsy? Thanks.
