Not knowing where Granby is I am writing due to the name Johnson Waughtal - there was one in a branch associated to mine and they called him "Dick" if I remember correctly. Also with the name Clement used this was the name of one of my grandfather's brothers. There must be a connection in our lines. When did your Frederick come over from Germany? My gr-gr-gr grandfather was also a Frederick but he was in PA then VA late 1700s early 1800s. He married Patsy Knots (sp) in 1808 in Washington County, VA.
