Richard "Dick" Weber Mesick Age 69, formerly of Lansing, died December 2, 2010. He was born February 2, 1941 in Lansing, son of the late Harold and Marguerite Weber. Dick was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Lansing and received his Associate's Degree from LCC. He retired from the Board of Water and Light in 1993 following 28 years of service. Dick was a member of the Buckley Tabernacle Church. He was an avid hunter, antique car collector and was a friend of Bill W. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Gail A. Weber; children, Sherry (Roger) Hall, Michelle (Carl) Poole, Shannon Jacobs, Stacy (David) Dennany, Denise (Michael) Murray and Eric (Kim) Weber; 12 grandchildren, Jason, Cherish, Dusty, Amy, Janae, Hanna, Krynn, Rachel, Gavin, Savanna, Keara and Connor; 3 nephews and their families; and sister-in-law, Joy Weber. He was preceded in death by his son, Dickie Weber; brothers, Ronald and Roger; and niece, Pamela Weber. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel with pastor and friend, Roy R. Atherton of Imagine This, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Munson Hospice and Palliative Care (Traverse City) or the Capital Area Humane Society.
