The sweet and then sour Wellington branch, in Michigan
Hi...List
Last week I decided to chase up some loose ends on some of Wellington branches!
Looking through Immigration in America, I found one member of the family also and where he was to stay once he arrived in Michigan, U.S.A.
I looked through the net searching information on this member of the clan, after three nights I came across an article written by a local Historian in Michigan, the Wellington was the correct person it stated the town in which he was born in the UK, his parents with the maiden name of his mother, Wonderful, it all fitted,
I made contact with the historian in Michigan, with my delight I received the branch with children & Grandchildren, the grandchildren all alive with about another forty G Grandchildren and G GGrandchildren, I was given two addresses and phone numbers to make the contact, that night I phoned Michigan from the UK, I spoke to a gentleman of the branch, I asked him would he like me to send his family his ancestors by e-mail or snail mail, he said no and dropped the phone on me!, he has deprived he rest of the family their roots.
I have decided to pass the information to the very helpful historian in the town in Michigan the family notes so other members of the family can find them at a later time.
