Chief White Cloud
We are trying to learn the lineage of my husband's family. He has always been told that his Great Grand mother, Minnie was full blooded indian and his Great Grandfather, James William was also indian not sure if full blooded. My husbands Uncle Sikes told him a story long ago. Chief White Cloud was killed in a battle (he did not say with who the battle was with) his daughter survived by hiding in a hollow log.An irish family came upon her and took her in as one of their own.We know that the families were in Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri and just found a census that indicates possibly Virginia.
